Jeffrey Louis Stevens

October 15, 1948 – June 30, 2021

After a brief battle with cancer, Jeff Stevens, UDC Global, LLC’s President of Residential, passed away Wednesday, June 30, 2021. Since 2018 Jeff’s primary role was to oversee the redevelopment of Myrtle Beach Mall in Myrtle Beach, SC. He joined UDC in 2007, where his cornerstone attributes as Development Partner led to several successful commercial projects. Prior to his tenure with UDC, Jeff spent ten years with Crescent Real Estate Equities Company as President and CEO of Crescent Operating, Inc. At Crescent Operating, Inc. he oversaw operations of world-renowned, award-winning residential developments, including The Woodlands in Houston, TX. He also acted as President of Desert Mountain in Scottsdale, AZ and Crescent Resort Development Company, which developed exclusive homes in resort locations such as Lake Tahoe and Beaver Creek. During Jeff’s time with Crescent, he also served as President of their hotel group that operated several luxury hotels and spas, including Park Hyatt Beaver Creek and the Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa. Years preceding Crescent, Jeff spent serving as chairman of Charter Hospitals and working in the oil & gas industry. Jeff loved to golf during his free time and was a former member of Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, TX. He held a BBA in accounting and finance from Texas A&M University – Commerce. Jeff was born October 15, 1948 in Dallas, TX. He is survived by his loving brother, sons and their families.
